Kenilworth Scouts
Welcome to the county’s cosiest District! Placed in the centre of Warwickshire we are the smallest District in terms of both geographical size and numbers. We offer 4 to 25 year olds’ skills for life through fun and challenging activities, unique experiences and the chance to make a positive impact in our communities.
Kenilworth is a “Town” District with five of our six Groups being located within the urban boundary and our sixth being in the nearby village of Leek Wootton. The Groups are located in different areas of the town and currently meet on varying nights from Monday to Thursday.
Kenilworth opened its first Squirrel Drey in 2023 which has proved to be a great success. This has been followed by the opening of a second Squirrel Drey in the Spring of 2024.
The District has two thriving Explorer Units catering for over 70 Explorers, a small but growing Network Section and a Scout Active Support Group. The District holds a number of events for the different sections throughout the year including camps and activities, which all bring the District together. The District also supports County events.
As Kenilworth is a small town many of our young people attend the same schools and so there are many friendships across the Groups. The District operates from the Kenilworth Scout & Guide Centre in Fishponds Road, Kenilworth, CV8 1EY.
