Get Together 2024
An opportunity for our adult supporters to get together and enjoy a fun evening without being responsible for a group of young people!
We’re inviting all adults who support Scouting across Warwickshire to ‘Get Together’ and join us at our County Ball.
When: Saturday 17th February 2024
Times: Doors open at 18:30, dinner served from 19:30 – carriages at midnight
Where: Delta Hotels, CV34 6RE – on the M40 Longbridge island
Cost: £45 per ticket, three course dinner
Dress code: evening attire.
A unique and rare opportunity for our adult supporters to come together and enjoy an evening without being responsible for a group of young people! Tickets include a 3 course meal followed by a disco post-dessert. A bar will also be available throughout the course of the evening.
Menu
After successful payment, from December, we will be sending a digital menu selection form to all booking contacts to forward on to their parties. This is where individuals can make their menu preference, and importantly supply us with dietary requirements and information about any allergies.
Here is an example of what the menu may look like (there will be 1 meat and 1 vegetarian/vegan option to choose from):
Starters:
Roasted red pepper and tomato soup with lemon and thyme pesto (V)
OR
Bruschetta, smoked salmon, sauce gribiche, cucumber, watercress
Main Course:
Chicken breast filled with pork, sage and onion, spring onion mash, red wine jus
OR
Grilled vegetable tower with Moroccan style couscous and spiced tomato sauce (vegan)
Dessert:
Sticky toffee pudding, clotted cream ice cream
OR
Duo chocolate torte, passion fruit drizzle
Bookings
We are welcoming bookings from individuals, couples and groups – tables seat 8 people. The booking process is:
- The booking contact should complete the form here to register the number of places needed in their party.
- We will send the booking contact payment instructions including a unique payment reference.
- Upon receipt of the payment, the booking will be confirmed.
- In December 2023, we will reach out to all booking contacts with a digital menu selection form to forward on to their parties. This is where individuals can make their menu preference, and importantly supply us with dietary requirements and information about any allergies.
Want to sit with your fellow leaders? No problem, you’ll be able to tell us who you wish to be seated with later when picking your menu choice & we’ll do our best to accommodate. Otherwise we’ll pull together a randomised table plan for those without a preference – a great way to meet fellow volunteers from across the patch!
Bookings will close on 6th January 2024.
Tables of 8 – free wine!
We’re giving a free bottle of wine for every 8 people per booking! So booking for 8 people? That’s one free bottle of wine. If you can book for 16, you’ll get two bottles of wine – and so on. All free wine will be on the relevant tables upon arrival.
Extra information
Proceeds from the evening will support our efforts to take 94 members of Warwickshire Scouts on an international trip in the summer of 2024. It is preferable that payment is made within 28 days upon receipt of payment instructions – thank you for your support.

FAQ’s
Who can attend Get Together? Get Together is open to anybody aged 18+! Section Leaders, Group Scouters, Parent Helpers, Parents of Scouts, Friends of Scouts, Other Scouters (you get the gist, anyone and everyone is welcome!)
What is included within the ticket cost? The ticket cost includes entry to the event, free onsite parking and a 3 course dinner.
