St George’s Day 2021
As we can’t yet get together, we are inviting everyone across Warwickshire Scouts to gather together virtually to mark St George’s Day 2021.
On Friday 23 April, at 7pm, we will be broadcasting to the County so that everyone can watch to reflect and celebrate Scouting, and to renew their promise together.
Baden-Powell chose St George as the Patron Saint of Scouting as the story of St George shows him overcoming adversity.
We also have loads of programme ideas and activities, for all sections, available below for you to do.
Live video: Friday 23rd April, 7pm
The live video will be broadcast on our YouTube channel, which you can subscribe to below. A ‘waiting room’ video will go live on our channel a few days before the event, and the link for this can be shared with your groups for a virtual premiere! We will also share this link on our social media as soon as it becomes available.
Subscribing to our YouTube channel ensures the ‘waiting room’ video will appear in your Subscriptions when it goes live, and if you turn on notifications (by clicking the little bell, visible when viewing our channel page – note, you must be signed in for this to work!) you’ll even get a direct notification.
